How can we create a ride-hailing service that empowers the independence of all passengers regardless of their mobility needs? 

Everyone deserves the ability to explore their world. Traditional ride-hailing services often create unintentional barriers for people with mobility impairments. This project aims to redefine the ride-hailing experience, crafting solutions that bridge this gap and unlock equal mobility for everyone. 

Building a seamless ecosystem for all.

UNIT disrupts the ride-hailing landscape by creating a holistic ecosystem for passengers with diverse mobility needs, including a user-friendly mobile app for passengers and a dedicated digital dashboard for drivers.

Empowering passengers through technology.

The UNIT passenger app focuses on accessibility from the start. During booking, passengers can specify their needs, ensuring a suitable vehicle and a trained driver match their support needs. Accessibility features, like prioritized pick-up location selection and in-app controls for the car environment, empower users to manage their travel independently and comfortably.

Equipping drivers for exceptional service.

The driver-focused digital dashboard prioritizes driver education. Accessible modules equip drivers with the knowledge and skills to confidently assist passengers with diverse needs. Additional pre-ride notifications, based on passenger requests, help drivers tailor their service and ensure a smooth and seamless experience for all riders.

By focusing on passenger and driver needs, UNIT fosters a truly inclusive ride-hailing experience, promoting independence and dignity for everyone.
